Register 1.17 / Inventory 1.12

It’s a new year and a new Green Bits! With this release we’re adding something new to every part of the app.
 
Cost Tracking!
 
On the Inventory side, we’re happy to announce that the first iteration of Cost Tracking is here! You’ll now notice the ability to enter a Purchase Price when accepting items on a manifest. When accepting a manifest, you’ll now be able to enter the cost per unit of each product. With upcoming changes to reporting, you’ll be able to see the profitability of each individual item, as well as get a feel for the profitability of the store itself.

            
 
We’ll be working with each location to get cost information on products you already have in inventory: be on the lookout for an email from Customer Care in the near future. 
 
New & improved barcode labels
 
Your barcode labels will now be printed in a larger (readable) font, and include the product name, sku, as well as your retailer UBI.
 
      
 
Improved register / printer performance
 
You should notice improved performance on the Register app due to some changes in how the receipt printer interacts with the app. These changes should prevent any freezing or locking up that you may have experienced recently.
 
Back Office updates
 
The Back Office has a slightly new look as we prepare to add more reports and other new features. The Sales Report, Monthly Tax Report, and Drawer Sessions can now be found under the Reports tab. 
 
You’ll also see the ability to export your customer list. Hit the export button to receive a .csv file of your customer info in your inbox! This file is also easily imported into MailChimp and Constant Contact.

-Fixed a bug that would cause 2D barcode scanners to prepend extra digits to barcodes
