After your initial hardware setup, you may need to link or unlink an iPad with your Greenbits account:
- Adding another register to your store to serve more customers or as part of an expansion.
- Upgrading from older iPads to newer models.
- Replacing an iPad due to malfunction, damage, or theft.
Important: Do not delete the Greenbits app or restore your iPad to factory settings without first following the unlinking instructions below! If you have already done so, please contact Support for assistance.
You will need the appropriate permissions to Manage Devices to link and unlink iPads and access to the Greenbits location that the device is linked to. You can see if you have access to the location by going to the Users page in Back Office, clicking the pencil icon on the far right of your profile, and viewing the locations that are checked.

- Select the location to which you want to link this iPad, and give it a name.
- If the location you want to link to is not listed, make sure you have granted your Back Office profile access to this location.
