If you need to void a transaction because of a mistake, you can do it at the Register.
You need the Alter Sales permission to do this. If you don't see the Void option, you don't have the appropriate permissions to void transactions.
Voids apply to an entire transaction.
- Open the Register app.
- Tap the side menu and select Activity.
- Search for the transaction by receipt ID or item SKU or scroll through the chronological list of transactions.
- Select the transaction.
- Select Void.
- Enter a note and Confirm.
