Use the Manifest Summary Report and Detailed Manifest Report to find information about inventory that you received during a given time frame, such as the amount spent on new inventory.
Run a manifest report
In Back Office, go to Reports > Other Reports. Determine the best report for the information you're looking for:
- Manifest Summary Report: includes manifest-level details such as vendor, total cost, and total retail value of each manifest received during your specified time frame.
- Detailed Manifest Report: includes all of the same information as the Manifest Summary Report, broken down into SKU-level detail.
Enter a Start Date and End Date and select Run Report. You can also download the report later from the Tasks page.
If the report opens in a new browser tab instead of downloading to your computer, resulting in a screen full of illegible data, select File > Save As to download it manually.
View a manifest report
If your manifest report opens as a page of illegible data in your web browser instead of your chosen spreadsheet application, right-click the file and select Open With, then select your spreadsheet application, or, open your spreadsheet application first, then select File > Open and select the file.
Apply filters and calculate totals
Although manifest reports include the total value of each manifest or SKU, it does not include the total value of all received inventory.
To quickly find the information you need, apply filters and use the AutoSum feature where necessary. For more details, see tips and tricks for working with spreadsheets.
