Here's why you'll occasionally have to enter customer information into Greenbits manually, when your store uses Express Check-in.
The customer's ID Number was not saved on their profile
If you did not save an existing customer's Driver's License/state ID number to their profile, you will need to manually enter in their information the next time they try to check in. This is because Greenbits matches customers to their profiles based on their ID Number.
Without a matching ID number, Greenbits pulls up a profile based on the customer's name. Once you verify that the profile is correct and add their ID number, you won't need to enter information manually the next time you check in this customer.
You are checking in a Patient who is under 21
If a Patient is under 21 and you use Express Check-in, you need to check them in manually. This is because Express Check-in verifies age and stops you from checking in underage visitors.
